Our story began in 1979, when Jais, Subodinee’s father, first opened a guesthouse just next door in Midigama. He named this guesthouse after his daughter, Subodinee. His warm hospitality quickly made it a home for travelers from around the world. 19 years ago, we decided to continue this tradition in our own way, creating a place with its own soul, where guests don’t just stay, they become part of the family.
We have opened the doors of our home to travelers from all over the world, creating a place where people meet, share, and feel at home. Nestled just 300 meters from the beach in Midigama, between lush nature and the Indian Ocean, our bungalow is more than just a guesthouse it’s a place where time slows down, where laughter fills the evenings, and where every moment is an invitation to connect.
As a family-run guesthouse, we love sharing our way of life, our traditions, and our home-cooked meals with those who stay with us. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful escape, chasing the perfect wave, or eager to explore Sri Lanka’s hidden gems, you’ll always find a warm welcome here.
Here, days flow to the rhythm of the ocean and the surrounding nature. Relax by the pool, enjoy the shade of the garden, or sip a cup of Ceylon tea while listening to the sounds of birds. Our little daughter, full of curiosity and energy, is always happy to meet new friends, and our evenings are often spent sharing stories, good food, and laughter with fellow travellers.
We can’t wait to welcome you to our home and share the beauty of Sri Lanka with you.
